Hi Goby,

Welcome to the board m8.

The very best advice that I can give you at the moment is use the search facility (at the top of BB) By typing in a subject or word, for example "skimmer" It will bring up all previous posts that have been made relating to skimmers.

You will find some very good reading, and any queston that you have would be best to post in reefs, as you will tend to get a better response in that forum.

Anyway, fil us in a little more on this tank, size, sump? what are you wanting to keep, what type of methods of filtration were you considering?

Nosey buggers we are on here you see http://www.ultimatereef.net/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Welcome Goby !!

As per the excellent advice from Paul above.

Use the Search facility, Read ( a reputable book/s ), annd ask specific questions that remain unanswered after the above.

And Enjoy ! http://www.ultimatereef.net/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Hi Goby,

I'm new too, my suggestion is to get an ADSL link or Cable and spend every spare hour trawling these bulletin boards. That and looking after my tank is about all I get to do these days.
