Hi, thanks for the replies.

I am using a Fujifilm 6900 (3.3MegaPixel). The camera has really good optics-so even though its a little old, its still a good buy at £400 2nd with a few other accesories.

The pictures above were taken in fully auto mode, as I hadnt learnt to use the manual controls when I took these pics a few weeks ago. I am now trying to take good pictures using the tanks Actinic lighting only--which normally gives terrible results--eg on my previous Canon A20. This camera features fully manual settings and using these I am getting good results with actinic lighting which in auto mode just doesnt work.

Hope this helps. Thanks for the compliments.

Fantastic shots...

Any chance you could frag a couple of the green spot polyps for me? I have a similar looking polyp in orange and its lovely. Got two polyps free from Maidenhead and they're starting to multiply. When they're big enough, would you consider a swap?

Cheers,

Tim

PS - What lighting is the full tank under? I know you went the T5 route, but which bulbs?

DOH! Just seen you have it too.... Sell a few green polyps maybe?

Also, is it just me, or are your clowns trying to use that Fungia as a host?

Cheers,

Tim

Hi Kosh, when there are a few more of the mushrooms, sure I'll sell/swap for frags of anything that I dont have.

As regards to to the lighting, I am using 1x6.5K and 1x20K, but also I am supplementing with a NO daylight white by Arcadia, which I think has a good spectrum for coral growth. Was originally using a NO actinic, but changed to daylight tube a few days ago.
