I know a few of you budding DIY'ers like to make things from spagetti jars. Today, I noticed Marks & Spencer have some tall acrylic pasta jars with seal around the top and a clasp on the outside to lock them down. Cost £8 each from the home department.

At least it'll help M&S share prices - go people go!

I'll take a look Simon - having made a calcium reactor and Kalk stirrer in the past from spaghetti jars, I'm always looking for alternative designs.

p.s. My Spag jar calcium reactor has now been running since June 2001 and maintains calc and KH with no other supplements.

Hmm since Im not sure if I need a kalk stirrer and calcium reactor and therefore im not sure if i need to know how to make them from pasta jars.

However, are there plans available for these items or was it a one off item?

Has anyone yet succeeded in converting a Deltec Kalk stirrer into a pasta jar ? Looks like the right height to me but would appreciate any advice.
