I just got some of this stuff from Homebase, £5.99 for a 10 metre roll!

Hi this is my first minor contribution to the site,Do you dislike arcadia light enhancers as I always use these.
I have previously used the stick on mirror stuff and find it gets salt corrosion on it after a while.hope this helps.

The reason I used the stick on mirror was because I have a proprietry hood on my tank at the moment and it is a very tight squeeze for my lights. So a stickon reflector saved a load of space. The hood is shaped like a reflector behind each tube it's just not reflective.

Hi All,

You could try Mylar, any Hydroponics outlet will stock it. ie:- www.growell.co.uk

The only place it seems to be readily available at present is on ebay. www.ebay.co.uk.

I know its reasonably expensive, but mylar is the best as it wont corrode above or into tank, i wouldn't skimp on it if i used it, as this would be one area for me deffinitely not to have dripping contaminated water.

www.growell.co.uk

do a search for mylar.

Hope this helps you,

Does anybody know what this Mirror on a roll actually is? I suspect it's just Mylar on a plastic adhesive backing, but I'm not sure?
