hi all, just thought i would share the wealth of handiness I found in the boxes of giant tic-tacs. Yes tic tacs.
If you look around for tictac silvers they come in an oversized tictac container, the top comes off and you are left with a clear plastic box(food safe) about 2" wide, 5" long and 7" high. perfect for a little wier. Ive just put mine in my tank so as soon as I get my cam back ill post pics up.
In my tank my overflows are siphon fed over the top of the tank with the piping reaching near the bottom of the tictac box, the hope is if the pump fails the water level will only drop as far as the diy wier and prevent flooding the sump and dining room.
