What paint to use

Hopefully a simple question I am about to build a new hood, incorporating my new halides, and will need to paint it. So the question is what paint is safe to use and what is not? Are most paints OK so long as they have plenty of time to cure or are some a definate no no.

Hi,
I used the same stuff on my old hood. It was painted on the inside for a couple of years and never started to flake off.
