Nice pics, I love clams but have never had much luck keeping them.

OK, here's a picture of mine.

You can see a few grains of sand on it, a result of my blue cheek gobie droping sand on it.
The clam doesn't seem to mind.
I have had this clam about 2 years now. It was no more than 1" when I got it, and now it's about 8" long.
Not sure what type it is. Can any one help?
