This is a pic of one of a pair of orchid dottybacks that were bred by Clayton Smith. The actinic light transformed it to this blue colour.

Ian,
That's a very nice looking fish! It must be nice to know exactly how old it is, right down to the number of days http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Do the two Dotties swim together or just ignore each other at this point?? I'd love to get a couple myself but my long time resident Sunrise Dottyback would have a fit, they'd be snacks before bedtime I think http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Lisa,
They pretty much stick to separate ends of the tank at this stage but they do interact occassionally. No sign of any aggression.
I picked up two of the little cuties yesterday. They are amazing fish and look really healthy. Only problem is that I haven't seen the smaller of the two since I put them in http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif I think one of my cleaner shrimps must have mistaken him for an oversized snack http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif
Hopefully it'll prove me wrong and pop out of the rock in the next few days....
Tim
