View Full Version : Fridmani picture
Hi Dragon,
what's the plating coral in the background ?
Is it some form of capricornis ?
I aquired some recently that seems to converting from plating into branching form, what lighting do you keep it under and how deep in the tank?
Do the polyps extend during the day at all ?
sorry for the multiple questions.
regards
reefclown.
Hi Reef clown
I assume it is a type of scoll coral,i bought it from somebodys tank who was selling up, polyps come out at night, i keep it under triple 250 watt 10,000k bulbs about two thirds of the way down in my tank 2 foot tank, growth is well noticed being about 4" wide and 6" tall.
My pair of orchid dottybacks use it to hide in,looks great.

Are you sure that's a Fradmani. It looks identical to my strawberry baslet. Fradmani that I've seen are slimmer bodied with longer fins.
