Hi Everyone,
Thought i'd scribe some stuff to introduce myself.
I've had my Jewel 240 tank with two canisters running for a year now, Soft corals and a few fish. Becoming quite established now that I got rid of the flourescents and replaced with 250W system 2000 metal halides (secondhand)
Now after a year I sit and watch saying to myself "yes bigger"
I am limited on length so have now ordered a new tank 48"Lx 24"Wx 30"H with two wiers and a sump.
Not got any bigger skimmers and pumps yet but always on the scrounge!
A small question on the side so to speak is "would an eheim 1050 be adequate for use as a return pump?"
I also keep koi in the garden and (sorry Bunglehaze) I too gained the interest in marines from my trip to the maldives. Going again in Jan 2004, can't wait.
Also into motorbikes and hitting 40 this year! Bloody hell! http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif
Anyway, I tend to surf the board gleening what I can and find it a useful place to gain ideas and confirm my thinking.
Thanks to al who have helped me so far.
Matt
