Hi Paul

Welcome to the board.
Do you find that your lighting is sufficient enough for your hard and soft corals? How long has your tank been up and running?

Hi Tigermad
Yes i find that the lighting is ok as long as i place my hard corals mid way to top of the reef. However i would like to go to 250's when i save the coin !

My tank has been running for 13 months

Hi Paul,

Welcome to UR! Looking forward to seeing some pics soon!
We have a 6x2x2 and only have 12 fish in ours at the mo as we didn't want to overload it too soon....out of interest, what fish do you have?

Cheers,
Hels

Hi Leigh
My 2 Torpedoe gobies hover mostly in the upper part of the tank and are out in the open 70% of the time.
They are a beutifull sight and very peaceful. At night they dive down to the reef bottom and rest in small holes/ gaps.

Hi Paul,

Was just looking at the piccies, you have on the other post. Surprised that the lighting is only by 3x150, but also encouraging.

It just goes to proof that the myth of "must have 250 or 400's" to keep hard corals, is hardly the case. Your tank proves the point, and is a credit to you.

Just out of interest, what params does your tank run at, and do you dose kalk or have a calc reactor inline

Cheers
Paul

Thanks for you remarks guys, tank stats are posted on ''Members tanks''
cheers.

PS. I run a Koralin reactor and dose with fresh Kalk. every evening by drip feed.
