Hi everyone, I've been looking for a good UK site and this one looks great. *I've spent a lot of time on American reef sites since I got my tank in September last year. * My neighbour, Paul moved house last year and suprised me one day by asking if I wanted his Trigon 350 marine tank with all livestock and equipment, because the house he was moving had no room for the tank. *I told him I couldn't afford it right then but he said he didn't want any money. *First bit of good luck I've had for a while. http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

What a job moving a tank and livestock from one house to another, never again. lol! *Anyway, here's what I've got:

77g *bow front corner, 20lb LR, Colt coral, Toadstool, 3 Mushroom colonies, polyps, finger coral, Anthelia, leather coral, boxing shrimp, cleaner shrimp, 5 hermits, 7 turbo snails, red brittlestar, sailfin tang, 1 chromis, percula clown, royal gramma, cherub angel, midas blenny, yellow tail blue damsel, Orange spotted Goby.

Most of the rock in the tank is ocean rock which I'm slowly replacing with Live Rock. *I only have 20lbs at the moment but it costs a fortune. *I need a source for some really cheap live rock please.

After the live rock I'm looking to upgrade to a better skimmer, I have a sander maxi-skim right now. *Lighting is just no flourescants, I'd like to get some T5's one day! *Filtration is via an interpet prime30 canister with bio-media and no sponges. *I also use the juwel filter in the tank. *Thats about it really. *I used to have a Lemon Peel angel, a really nice fish, but it mowed down my anthelia until they were stumps. *He's gone back to the LFS now and the anthelia is almost grown back again. *I live and learn!

Apologies for the long post.

I've only known Paul for about 2 years, I must have made a good impression on him. *I owe him big time! *Still e-mail him with pictures of how the tank is progressing. *I used to have a fish only tank about 10 years ago but it was nothing like this one! *It's my pride and joy (in addition to my kids of course! ) http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
