Hi!
I guess I'm the new squid on the block...
My old man and I started off with a love of scuba, which led to us starting up a marine tank. Our tank has been running for just over a year and I LOVE it! We have one or two scuba holidays a year which usually leave me wishing we could bring stuff back with us. We have made mistakes over the past year with our tank which I would be scared to tell you about, having read some of the blunt comments made to others! Anyway, good to have such an excellent site to access for help and conversation.

Hi Jasmine,
Let me be the first to welcome you and your other half to the board. Hey! let me tell you we have all made mistakes on here http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif Just ensure you learn by your mistakes and don't ever be afraid to ask questions no matter how silly you think they may sound.
In fact do ask many as the answers are all free and better to ask than to suffer in silence with your animals suffering as a result. Les http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Hello jas hope you are fine, everything said is true. we've all made mistakes, I'm not ashamed to admit, probally more embaresed to say i wiped my first tank out. Patients is a virtue. i've got a little saying only bad things happen to a reef tank quickly, good things take longer.........Read them books jas and then again....GT :)
