Staying at the Coral Bay Resort just outside Sharm.

I find that acro's tend not do so well when growing in oxtail soup!!!! http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
The diving around the Island can be spectacular during the summer. Did you know that that there are over 4000 charted wrecks around the Island? http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

Cam,
You got a good price! Who did you book it with?
Andy,
We booked with a internet based company called www.instantholidays.com Many places were offering exactly the same holiday (JMC is the operator) to the same place etc. but were asking about £370.00 which in it's self is not too bad, We were only looking for a cheap break so didn't really want to pay too much.
Cam.
P.S. I just bought a cheapo disposable underwater camera so I'll see if I can get some half reasonable shots. I was slowly talking Tracy into a new digital camera but I think I've blown that now http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

Give 7 day sales a try on the net. I got a Vivitar cruise cam 35mm shop price £49 for just £17 water depth down to 15meters. Real bargain m8. Shhh don't tell Tracy. http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif Les http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

But Andy most of the stuff we reefers want to see is above 15m http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif Anyway 15m is far deeper than most disposable cameras can go so there. http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif Also at around twice the price of most disposables the vivitar has to be a bargain m8 given that you can use it time and time again and out of it's waterproof housing for land shots. http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif Les http://www.ultimatereef.com/ibv3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif

Could you give me the website address for 7 day sales please? Had a look for 'em but no luck. Thanks!

We went to Hurghada this time last feb for a weeks snorkelling, best holiday yet.
On the subject of underwater photography I used a Nikon Digital and a Canon Ixus APS in a water proof bag called an Aquapac. They are basically a very flexible clear bag with a water proof seal. I had good results with both cameras as long as the flash was off.
Give one a try, they are cheap - about £30 ish I seem to remember, the guy on the end of the phone was very helpful.

I was in Hurghada in Jan - £319 for a week including flight, B&B, transfers AND a 5day dive pack!
Hotel was a bit grim (although the resident bed-fauna enjoyed my stay) but for that price, who's grumbling. I took a disposable underwater camera and also hired one of those "Sea & Sea" doobries (about 15quid including the 36exp film). If you want to see my efforts, click on the following link:
