We're going to the seychelles

Is there anything we need to know, we've been before but never dived there.

Most of the Hotels offer diving - but if you are at an expensive Hotel look about before you go and try to find the number of a cheap hotel - because the diving will be much cheaper - it is also best to try to book it in advance. I saved as much as $10 per day in my experience.

Last time I went the diving was good, but the sea on the western side was fairly heavy outside the reef 8-10 in August

Thanks for the tips.

After lots of emailing of various places, we are going with Island Ventures on Mahe. We managed to get almost a 100 dollar a night discount as part of a "package" with them.

The choice to go with Island Ventures was made due to them including long trips and night dives in the price. Although they are much more expensive than say Big Blue Divers, I didn't really didn't want to be tied in to only doing local dives.
