Hi there everyone, I've been keeping marines for 9 yrs now, i currently have a 5x2.5x2.5 reef tank, a 5x2x2 puffer tank and have recently setup a juwel rio125l octopus tank, Just thought i'd introduce myself :D !

Well im at uni in Hull, but at home in London! My octopus is a girl called Olly! shes a little sweet heart!

Very amusing behavior!

The Puffers are Funny though! (and Fat)!!!

All are hand tame including the lionfish who is too tame for my liking! :(

i visited kkc just before christmas, a big place, but they didn't have anything different to the usual when i went.

what tank(s) have u got?

haven't spoke to anyone else in hull who is into fish.

Hi m8 octopus always wanted one but have heard so many horry stories I thought I'd wait a bit. Don't most only survive a couple of years in the wild ? Please keep me informed. I'm in Manchester but take an occasional trip to Hull. However if you can find your way to a WYMAG meet (in Leeds) I'll buy you a pint and we can have a chat. Daryl are you going to the next one...

My tank is currently dry. I am in the process of setting up a mainly fish seup with some live rock. My stats are:-
Tank 6x2x2.5high
Sump 5x16x14
1 deltecAP850
3x 1060's 1 for the skimmer which may be changed.
A wavemaker
Several powerheads and loads of bits of plumbing which is the only bit that is holding me back at the moment. Im hoping to get things up and running very soon, sooner if I get help with the plumbing.

Are you staying close to the uni?
As Druid says,,,I would also pay in pints for a chance to pick your brains :lol:
