brough a new coral today and i noticed underneath the was a snal with a black shell with yellow bands around it any ideas what it is ?

thats the pupy :) will it pray on me turbos or any other tank inhabitants ?

Just treat it the same has your turbos m8, daily walks in the park and plenty of exercise :D :D B)

Sorry to throw a spanner :) but its interesting - ive not had any problems with them, but I have seen others who have. Technically they are a VERY predatory species (ask Dr Ron his opinion ;) ) though they are often sold as reef safe.

I'm sure it'll be fine but watch him when you get any sps in particular - (the biggest threat IME seems to be when they are smaller if they breed).

Matt thanks for the insight. I have had no problems up to press, but I am leaning more towards sps at the mo, so will keep a careful eye on them, thanks again Darryl B)
