Lisa, those are amazing pictures of a beautiful fish! Wow! :o What kind of camera do you use?
Thanks :D It's a Fuji FinePix 6900Z, a great camera.

Lisa
Photos not even close to Lisa's quality, but here they are. These are only snaps (only 20KKs on at the moment too) and I'll try to post some proper pics tomorrow. Same species, Pseudanthias parvirostris.
Three females, part of a group that have been hanging around the Cleaners all evening. Excuse the green pipe, sump not up and running yet so that's where I'm keeping the pump that runs the skimmer. :)

Excellent Olly! Mine hid for quite a while before plucking up the courage to venture out in the open. Voracious eaters once they got going though :D
I really dig the 'cleaning' shot B)

I dont know, I buy 12 today and then realise I've missed the topic of the month.
Anywhere here is one of the 12, they are all in hiding at the moment.

Wonderful Craig, keep the pics coming. I'd love to see a shot of all 12, now there's a challenge for you. ;)

Lisa
sorry for the late entry.
one of my 2 male pink square anthias
top and bottom ventalis anthias
Excellent, I'm glad to see some more Anthias pics being posted. So you have a ventralis, they have to be my ultimate Anthias species. Do you have just two or do you have more hiding in your tank? How hard was it to get them (male and female?) to feed? I would really like to give these fish a go but I know that most refuse to feed and waste away.
Regards
Lisa
Lisa all 12 together, I'm lucky if I see 2 together........I thought they were showling fish. I bought them for that reason and was going to add more. I suppose I had better be patient.
Craig
thanks lisa,
I have approx 25 ventalis in the tank. The problem with them is that they can hemerage(excuse the spelling ) with the slightest amount of stress. the are not the cheapest fish and to watch one introduced into the aquarium and die almost immidiatly is heartbreaking. Fortunatly i only lost one when i added 26.
They red immidiatly and when shoaling ( usually when the actinics only are on ) they look awesome

Mark,
Wow, 25!!! Awesome. Were they a special order? What do they feed on mainly??
Regards
Lisa
they were a special order from tmc via aqua-world warrington. i am sure that they get a shipment every 2-3 months.
they feed on a mixture of brine and cyclops , as previously this is fed 24hrs a day and seems to bring them out of the rocks.
