Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a reefer from Seattle, Wa. I'm moving to England in the fall and Leewink from nano-reef.com turned me on to this sight. Thought it would be a good idea to get involved with the UK reef community before going over. Hope I can help others and learn more.

Yeah, I'm going to have to start over. It's taking all of my self control not to buy more here. I'm not sure where I'll be. I have lots of family over there so it basically depends on that. My mother and both my Grandparents were born there so getting a work visa was no prob. I'll be looking for a bartender job when I get there so I'll figure I'll travel around for 2 weeks and find a place that works for me.

Moving to England.............are you MAD its a dump I'm doing my upmost to move away but the wife wants my son's to get english education.Do you get the impression I don't like England well it does have possibly the highest petrol prices,40% income tax (makes overtime worth doing..NOT) crap weather,road tax,poll tax,infact everything is taxed to the max.

I grew up in a household with VERY strong UK influences. It's always been my dream to live there. The weather is the same as Seattle. Life is expensive. Oh well. I'm sure I could rattle off a list of bad things about the U.S. as well. Pros and cons with everything.
