View Full Version : Subject Of The Month (June)
This chap has been with me forever, well 8.5 years anyway. He was the very first addition to my tank and he looks the same to me now as he did all those years ago. :D
I took the picture this morning with the camera mounted on a tripod but without using flash. I wanted to try and pick up the colours of the Maxima clam as much as I could (and using a flash tends to make the clam look distinctly brown from this angle). f5.6, 1/20 sec (slooooooow).
I hope you like it.
N.B. This fish likes fresh shrimp meat ;)
Regards
Lisa
Another great shot! Alas - I don't have a hawk fish to contribute :(
Taking a shot of fish at 1/20 !!!! Good thing the fish don't move much (as they do) :)

I also have some Peppermint shrimps but (wisely) they only come out at night when the tank is pitch dark.
Simon,
Do you pair hang around much? Or are they simialr to ships passing in the night?!
Lisa... I will try and get a photo of my pair - just as soon as the insurance pays up for some light fingered so-and-sos opportunistic grab :(
