Hi lisa,
This mosiac shrimp( so the shop called it) is more shy than a blood red.
In fact he`s been im mt tank a 2-3 months and i`ve only seen it twice.
Rick.
oop`s the shrimp is there you just have to look for it.
Here`s a cropped blown up piccy.
Rick
Bri,
Great stuff. :D How long have you had these guys for?
Rick,
Good job you posted the second pic, I was having a little trouble spotting the shrimp  That sucker is the master of disguise! What you have there is a Saron sp. otherwise known as a Marble shrimp. What are you keeping it with? These guys can be coral nibblers.
It sure is a beauty tho' B)

Lisa
There are at least 18 possibly 24 peppermint shrimp in here.
Please put an X when you spot one cause I haven't since I put them in ;)
But they are keeping the aptasia in check :D

Thanks lisa.
Its in my reef tank but can see no damage so far, but at least now i know what it is.
I also have 2 candy shrimps, 4 cleaner, 1 blood red and 1 boxing shrimp.
When it next appears i will try to get some better piccy`s of it.
Thank`s again,
Rick.

Lisa your getting quite a good collection of piccy`s now.
Preds great picture, looks like an anenome shrimp, Fantastic mate.
Came down for a drink about 12.00am a caught my marble shrimp on a cockel, ran for my camera and took about 20 piccy`s of it. The camera could`nt focus in the dark but i just kept clicking and got 2 usable piccy`s.
i hope this gives you an idea of the size of this shrimp.
It`s about the size of a large blood red and has furry front legs.
Regards,
Rick.
Candy shrimp, peppermint, dancing shrimp, Take your pick.
The shops all have differemt names for it.

I still haven't taken any decent pictures of the cleaner, blood and peppermint shrimps in my tank for some reason, I should do so eventually...
Nice pics in other posts btw!
Philippe
Fantastic stuff, quite a few different shrimp there. I may have a shrimp pic to post soon as a pair of rather tasty pistols have recently come into my posession. ;) Still I'm running a bit late so I'd better unpin this topic and get a new one up ASAP. :D
