Yellow thing could be sea slug or nudie branch..

If you can get a piccie?

davidc
03-09-03, 17:11
A nudie branch? The ocean's naturist :D

Hi Mike,

You tank looks fab! Well done.

The yellow slug could also be a stomatella snail, I used to have some that were bright yellow. If you look carefully does it have a small flatish shell on its back? If not then, as the guys have said, it could be a nudibranch. :)

Regards

Lisa

Mike,

Stomatella's are most definitely friendly :D They breed prolifically and eat algae.

Hi.

Very nice indeed.

Well worth keeping a catalogue of pictures....say each time you add a new fish, invert etc etc.

Lets you remember how it was as time rolls by.

I found that I 'always thought it looked like this' when showing or discussing the tank.

yeah i agree, i take pictures all the time mate, some days your tanks just look good know what i mean?

kim
04-09-03, 16:49
Yes - the rock already looks fantastic, it'll be mind blowing in a while.

Did you use any tricks to support it ? How long did it take ? And how much by weight do you have in there ?

kim

big bubba
04-09-03, 18:35
support from egg crate and milliput.
hmmm cant remember weight
i used egg crate to make supports then when the milliput had set take them away.
theres some egg crate holding up the skimmer cos it doesnt fit :(
so tommorrow i start my sump build, hoorah :D

Thanks for your comments Mike. Happy to help.

Thanks also for spotting that enormouse Aiptasia lurking under the Brain coral. I was baffled as to why odd litle ones kept appearing. I think that one was the parent. Needless to say it has now been successfully "nuked"
