Yellow thing could be sea slug or nudie branch..
If you can get a piccie?
A nudie branch? The ocean's naturist :D
Hi Mike,
You tank looks fab! Well done.
The yellow slug could also be a stomatella snail, I used to have some that were bright yellow. If you look carefully does it have a small flatish shell on its back? If not then, as the guys have said, it could be a nudibranch. :)

sorry lisa could get photo last night. maybe he is camera shy :D
Hi.
Very nice indeed.
Well worth keeping a catalogue of pictures....say each time you add a new fish, invert etc etc.
Lets you remember how it was as time rolls by.
I found that I 'always thought it looked like this' when showing or discussing the tank.
Steve.Tope
yeah i agree, i take pictures all the time mate, some days your tanks just look good know what i mean?
Yes - the rock already looks fantastic, it'll be mind blowing in a while.
Did you use any tricks to support it ? How long did it take ? And how much by weight do you have in there ?
kim
support from egg crate and milliput.
hmmm cant remember weight
i used egg crate to make supports then when the milliput had set take them away.
theres some egg crate holding up the skimmer cos it doesnt fit :(
so tommorrow i start my sump build, hoorah :D
got some new corals and stuff today from keith hellyar (check out his tank in the forum very nice even better in the flesh) just like to say thanks mate (pictures tomorrow)

Thanks for your comments Mike. Happy to help.
Thanks also for spotting that enormouse Aiptasia lurking under the Brain coral. I was baffled as to why odd litle ones kept appearing. I think that one was the parent. Needless to say it has now been successfully "nuked"
Keith
some pictures of my new corals.

Looking good !! love that regal and majestic how do you find they behave with the corals.. also any more info on your algae scrubber.. do you run 24/7 and what lighting?? thank.. Nic
one from mr douglas
thanks,
algae scrubber and dsb in sump on reverse lighting also contains mangroves, the majestic loves button polyps and anthelia (sp?) also ripped a brain apart but leaves the sps and lps alone ^_^ . the regal hasnt touched anything really, am very impressed with them both
mike
sry lighting above tank is 1 400mh soon to be 2 250s with diamonarc luminare reflecters
when you say reverse lighting what the benefit here!! surely you could keep it on 24/7 or is it not worth it? N
how do i get to that lovely mysis?
mangroves need to photosynthise so need to have a period in the dark seem to grow alot quicker this way mate

Your tank has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. Looking good. That blue SPS would look a lot better in mine though
Keith

Keep up the piccies so we can all see it flourish.
