Hi,

I went to the Dive Show on Saturday and was delighted to be introduced to Dan Europe.

There were only a couple of insurers there who were prepared to take on a 70 year old but Dan Europe will insure divers up to 75!!!

I am over the moon as it means my diving can continue without the risk of going uninsured. :D :)

How much does it cost on average for dive insurance for a holiday? :huh:

I normally pay £40 for the Red Sea.

We have an annual Worldwide travel insurance policy which covers us diving to qualification depths (but no equipment cover) and it costs us about £90 per year (as a couple)

But once you reach the magical age of 70, or 65 in many cases, it is impossiblr to get an annual policy.
