View Full Version : Aidy's Tank
Hi Hi
I've made a few changes over the past few months to my tank. For those who don't know me , I have a 55 gallon Octagonal Tank to which I have just added 1x 250watt MH and 2 x T5 Actanic Blues. I finally have the chance to build a reef in what WAS going to be a fish only tank. Here are some pics of how its looking so far.
Aidy,
That is a beautiful tank and it is good to see a softy tank for a change.
Aidy,
 LOVE  that clown pic :)

Thanks very very much for the feed back. I'm still new to this so it really means a lot when anyone looks or even comments, good or bad. Thank you!

Hi Michelle. The little fish is a type of Anthia. He's very friendly and seem to play the part of peace maker if anything goes wrong in the tank. I used to have another type of Anthia too but he got too big and aggresive so had to go. Unfortunately my fav fish also had to go as he started to eat the corals. He was a Foxface. I miss him being in there.
If anyone has any ideas of what I can add to my tank, I would love some advise. At the moment its just this Anthia and my 2 Clown fish. All have been in the tank for about 8 or so months now. Maybe more. My tank is 55 gallon but a lot of space is now taken up with the reef. Perhaps UR's fish of the month "Dottyback' would be a good addition? I miss all the character that my foxface had. Anything along those lines would be great.
Nice shots m8, tank looks really good.
Looks great Aidy, nice one :)
Hi Aidy
Superb looking tank, and fantastic photos.
When everything is going so well I'm always tempted to leave alone. But you are right, an orchid dottyback would be a stunning addition to the tank.
All the best

wow, those zoos (especially the reddy-purple on) are amazing. They remind me of some of the ones you see on the American sites. I take it they came from a LFS? Might be worth taking a trip there :D
Been unable to convince the missus to let me buy anything for the tank for many many weeks now :(
