Took a couple of pictures last night of the tank and thought I would share them with you, Im not the best photographer in the world so please excuse the quality. Also I must learn to clean the tank before taking pictures!!.

Comments most welcome.

Cheers fuzed, the fish in there at the mo are as follows :-

5 * Green Chromis
Yellow Tang
Regal Tang
Royal Gramma
2 Common Clowns
Carribean Blue Tang
Centropyge Argi

The tank mainly used to be softies, theres only a few left now (All the ones down the bottom) The majority of it is now SPS with a couple of LPS as well. There are currently 7 largish colonies and loads n loads of frags (30 or so of them). The majority of the frags are from Clayton and the non-frags are from Interfish. Just waiting for them to grow on a bit and colour up.

Tying to work out the camera so that I can get some better closeups. As soon as I do I will post them up.

Cheers

Hi m8, it is a digital but doesnt have a macro setting. Its 4 million pixels but does not have a lot of functions on it. ie ony 2 * zoom etc.

I'll upgrade at some point. A colleauge is bringing his in so that I can get some close-ups.

Nice tank pete. i see you have most of the fish from nemo( bet you have kids)

i am sorry to see you are from scarborough somebody has to be......

i was just wondering where you get your stock from fish etc..... as i live in whitby and the only LFS sells trop's as i hope to move to marine's soon, 3 years in tropicals was fun but i think i have the reef bug!!!

Cheers

Hi and thanks for the nice comments.

George the tank is a 5*2*2 with a 3 foot sump and also another 3 foot tank purely to add water gallonage,

T-W, Whitby eh, not to far from me really are you, wondered where the Scarborough comment came from until I read where you live - Whitby - say no more!!!.

Anyway in answer to your questions, hardware is mainly bought from the internet - all the usual places with a few bits bought from my LFS. Livestock are from various locations. Interfish in Osset, UK Marines in Batley, Aquatic-World in Bridlington, Skirlaugh Garden Centre in Skirlaugh, KKC in Hull and My LFS which is Scarboro Aquatics. pop through and see him, really nice bloke called Dave, tell him I sent you and he might give me discount.

Nemo - the word many reef keepere dont like, but yes I do have a lot from the film and I do have kids, only one year old though so not old enough to sway my purchasing decisions. To be fare though I had all the stock before nemo came out so I think they copied me.

Moving from trops to reef, trops are nice but cant blame you for moving, bit of advice though read as much as you can and get to know people who understand reef-keeping, you never know when they might be able to help out.
