Stocking will be mainly SPS, with hopefully a small'ish shoal of A. Ventralis  to finish it off......will it work? I can only try.

Tanks looking great,
id like to ask what the lighting is and how you keep it cool, also where you bought all the rock from? what type is it?
Lighting is a single 250w/BLV 10000k bulb, and 2x24w T5 D&D Actinic+, I have a fan mounted above the tank which comes on with the MH although I'm going to fit another small one over the sump also in the near future..possibly may upgrade to a 400w if I fit a chiller.
The rock used is Belican, you don't seem to see it that often, try Andy at Aquaworld.
Nick(aka Birthday Boy) thats one fast Monti......... :D

with regards to the date or fish :P
seriously though is looking good, i take it those 2 mantis are in different tanks with looking at the substrate. that spearer is a beauty
craig
Cool looking tunicates! Or are they sponges?
Thanks for the comments...
Yes the mantis are in separate tanks, the Peacock would probably make short work of the spearer at the moment......but the spearer may stand a better chance if he ever reaches it's full size of 40ish cms!!!!!
Jonock, they are indeed tunicates, strange looking things, my girlfriend thought they were plastic :D
Gary you were calling me for being MR Perfect, just look how tidy your sump is….
Tank looks very impressive. But is that a bit of dust on your cabinet. (LOL) :D
Phil.
PS Benjamin says its “Cool Mate”
:o excellent, very nice LN butterfly and those tunicates are superb :D

thanks for the coment on my tank gaz , yours is looking truly stunning m8  .( i want those tunicates please) B)
on your day of come down to the shop m8 coffee & biscuits will be waiting, not that far from you ! :)
Neil I'm suffering from tank envy, your tank makes mine look like a puddle, might have to try and sneak a big tank in when the girlfriends not looking...... :D
Gaz,
are you adding any supplemental food for your tunicates, like phyto etc?
i have just got about 5 of the beautys on 2 seperate rocks, similar colours to yours
oh and where did you acquire the table, any in the shop ?
craig
edit: double posted
Gary, Ill have to get me one of those tables. WOW
Phil
Looks better out the bag. (LOL)
Craig, yes I dose phyto (Phyto-aqua from Nick D) but it's the only supplement I do.
As regards the table theres 1 left, and it's a v.nice piece, get it bought!!!! :D
Recent additions are a pair of Snowflake clowns, not to everyone's taste but then again it's my tank so I don't really care!!!! :P Personally I think there cute and a bit different....found the larger in the sump tonight it had managed to find it's way over the weir comb, down the standpipe, through the bio balls, and into the mud chamber and was flapping about on the Calerpa when I rescued it, so at the moment it's feeling a little sorry for itself... ;)

Very nice tank Gaz. Think you could do with some mad fish though. How does a Snowflake Moray, a Picasso Trigger and a Lionfish Volitans sound. Personal favourites of mine anyway. :P

Stunning tank mate
Shame about the car   :whistling: :D
Chris.
Shame about the car
Oh no it one of the enemy   :D
Seriously I looked at a STI with PPP it looked well and like most scooby's sounds awesome, only that I'd fell in love with Evo, I too could have ended up going to the darkside :P :D
I'm ashamed to say  that the evo is probably a better all round car, with the active yaw etc.
The scooby however probably gives more per £ in value
and that flat four burble through a decent pipe   B)
I had the suspension and geometery modded last year which got rid of the chronic understeer :D , that along with the 270 ft/lb of torque at 3200rpm means as a B-class road tool, point to point car it's pretty good.
Isekeman had a trip out in it a few weeks back and lived to tell the tale
Cheers,
Chris.

wohh just seen this , well u know my opinion on snowflakes hehe :P but m8 omg what a seriously stunning tank and what looks to be exellent growth rates in just a little while.... do u ever find your RBT goes walk about??? i had one sit still for like 12 months then all ov a sudden got up and wandered like crazy , its now banished to the sump under 4 t5s ( was sitting on top of acros  )

Great looking tank mate  one of my favs
:thanx:
Chris
LPS dude no hard feelings mate  nothing like a bit of heated debate!!!! :P
I'm sure you'll agree though that given the right situation even a pair of 'freaks' have a beauty about them?....indeed with all these RBT that have flooded the market, they may have a more sinister background than the clowns. :(
Movement wise it's took about a month to settle but it's been fine since, it does touch a few acros and a monti but has'nt caused any noticable damage.
Esk, thanks for that mate

Hi M8,
Some stunning piccy's there  - what sort of camera do you use? Or does someone take them for you
Thanks again for sorting out my little fish problem - peace has descended on my tank once more - I'll listen more carefully next time you say not to do it!! This officially says I owe you a pint  or would you rather have a loan of my Road Angel?????

naaaa no hard feelings at all m8 , my opiniun is no greater than anyone elses :)
and even though im not a great fan ov them i must admit they do look rather nice lol
as for the flood in RBT s flooding the market think u may be right , wasnt so long ago these little gems were soooooooooooo hard to get hold of now it seems every LFS has one, or two or three lol.
yea strange the way the buble tips seem to sting some corals and not others i had it sit right on top ov one acro and it did no harm yet when it came even close to another it killed it completely

P.S like that new Avatar, could'nt believe your reason behind that last one  doe's the new one mean your only asking for the one item in the shop but it takes that long to get served that you end up being a OAP before you recieve it...or isn't that obscure enough for ya!!

Looking fantastic Gaz, I would expect nothing less from you though. Those angels look great together. Some of those corals are getting a bit big though. I reckon a frag donation to the Prawnster's tank would put everything back in perspective. :D

Now Bat man,

Thanks, that was one of the reasons I did it, not everyone's got vast amounts of money to throw at large tanks and expensive equipment so I've tried to keep it simple and relatively cheap to prove you can get similiar results with a little effort.
Such a nice tank!!

Is there anyone in particular you've got in mind?
Does help though if you can hand pick all the best stuff! Must say Gaz that really is a stunning 'ickle' tank - how do you get those colours so vivid? I am really impressed and as I'm coming up to a year since set-up mine dosen't even come close. :( I'll keep trying though and maybe get to it in the end! ;)
Thanks again for your help today.

Gio(aka stirrer) you know what I'm getting at, and it's by no means a dig at anyone :P :P :P

One helpful tip I can give ya, I always find it useful to actually connect up any benefical equipment (eg Ca Reactors), because from past experience I,ve always found they acheive better results when removed from there packaging ;) :P

Gio see what you've started!!! <_< I've already got one of the big tank bitches 17000ltr(to be honest never heard of him before, don't even know if he's got a big tank ;) ) accusing me of having a go :(
17000ltr(is that the turnover of your tank?) I think you bless yourself with far too much relevance :P I was purely trying to put accross that even on limited budgets, and with relatively small and simply equiped tanks decent results can be achieved with SPS.........
Thanks
Gaz(aka whipping boy :P )
Love the tank, saw it in ultra marine mag last year an searched the web for ages trying to find it while all along it was on UR lol :D
The aquascape was fantastic and now the tank looks superb :)
May I ask, did you use reef bones to create it?
Thanks :D
