Fantastic! Like the tank & cabinet - quality stuff!
You've sat the skimmer inside the sump though - can it come out for cleaning?

Hi

Tuan Yes the skimmer is easy to take out for cleaning and i have also created more space in the cabinet plus the water around the skimmer makes it whisper quiet as the tank is sited in the living room. :D

Chris the switch took 2 days to complete everything but the main live stock and rocks took about 4 hours the rest was all the fiddley bits you know what i mean.

The misses was pretty good about it she says as long as it looks tidy i can do what i like WOW what a woman. :D :D :D

nice tank there. noticed the bare bottom route (no jokes please), presumed for increased circulation? i may go this route when i sort out my new tank but i take it you have turbos and hermits in there? how have they taken to this as i know some have trouble getting back upright if they have fallen

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies been away so delayed on the replies.

The glass rack system i asked to be built in to the tank by fitfiltration.

I have gone bare bottom as i run my system this way have done for over a year now with very good results no mulm or waste collected this waywhich is piece of mind and leads to less problems and no sand to blow about.

The stand i bought from a reefer on here and was just the skeleton of 2x2 boxed section steel i then added the acrylic all around and sliding front doors the silver finish is below the surface so will not scratch off.

Tony the frag is getting bigger thanks i know my websited is now dated   .

I have further improved the tank with fine tuning the rock work and adding six chromis and a Rose bubble tip anemone.

Hi paul ., My new tank will 80" long 33" wide and 28" tall , arm and a leg time. I just have to crack the whip with the builders so the room for it is built in time.

Did you get john to deliver the tank ? and how many people did you need to lift it?
I'm looking forward seeing it . btw that brain of mine dosen't look right in the new tank i think i ought to have it back B)
