I'm afraid it's the dreaded hair algae! my tang & two urchins are making short work of it! I've cut the lighting down, tested for phosphate which still read 0. I hope in time it will simply disappear. Although the tanks still quite immature (3 months) so it may still be part of the cycling process. Feeding has been cut down, however I believe the root cause are the twin 150W halides, which are 16months old hence in need of a change

Any further thoughts?

Hi,

Got rid of the hair algae, I added a 'FoxFace' the back in now a respectable blue, he decimated the stuff in about two days!
