Well done mike, i've always loved this tank...
Actually the pictures don't do it justice,1000% better in real life, the colours are amazing...
It really is a beautiful tank..

Lovelly tank but I think the yellow tang could do with feeding up a bit.

Thanks for the comments gents :) Pavlo, the tang was rescued from a very sorry looking tank owned by someone I worked with about three months ago :( Believe me, it looks a lot better than it did.

nice loking tank mate,
certainly looks the part and very lo-tech too always a bonus in this day and age where equipmant seems to be taking over.
mind you ,you prob need a low maintanace system what with having a Lammy!!!!
i remember them days of tinkering and carb setting and good old points systems b4 electronics sebacs and ts1's

Cheers for all the kind words everyone :blush: As I said in my write up, I was gobsmacked when I was asked to do this feature as I know that there are loads of fantastic reef tanks out there owned by our BB members.

My tanks only 40 gallons two, so now i know i can make it better.
How do you keep the nitrates so low?
mines at 5ppm and thats only because its got 2 fish!!

Hi Chris, thanks mate - I can only attribute the nitrate level to a combination of RO for water changes, live rock and the feeding regime (three small meals per day as opposed to just the one)
