I'm off on Sunday and have just had the itenery (ish) dependent on weather.

As per previous post not boring old reefs (yawn :D )

In no particular order - Thistlegorm, Rosallie Moller, Salem express (not sure about this one !!), Dunraven, Million Hope PLUS two un-named wrecks one at 48M and the other at 52+M.

TEE HEE :D

I post piccys if I get any good ones (but no fish or corals (perhaps :P )).

Have a wonderful time. We did the Salem Express for the first time in December (were also a bit unsure due to it's recent history) but it is an amazing dive and on seeing it you can understand how it sank so quickly. The main thing with that dive is you should not penetrate at all as I understand it is still a grave.

I guess you're also doing Abu Nuhas and the 4 wrecks there. Giannis D has to be my favourite although I always feel a bit funny when diving it due to the angle it's at. If you do it look out for the big Porkie puffer who lives in it. When we distrubed him he followed us aqround until we went back out of the wreck then went back to his home.

Had a stunning time lots of great diving, however the itenery had to be changed due to strong winds (6' waves :o ). It made the diving hard but we managed to get three dives on the thistlegorm including a night dive. The others were the usual stuff (Ghazlarni, Ghiannie D, Carnatic, Ullyssis, etc) but we managed two dives on unnamed ships, one at 55m and one at 47m (we actually took the PADI dive marshal on his first planned deco dive :D )

Just to show I didn't just look at old bits of twisted metal all the time

I have dived all of the wrecks that you have stated in the northern Red sea, when we had a weeks diving from Tony Blackhursts Cyclone all of the wrecks were beautifully encrusted with hard & soft corals. the only dissapointment was the state that the Thislegorm was in. It is a Brilliant wreck, although sadly the best days of diving on it have now passed with divers taking off trophies!! and smashing the windows on the bedford trucks that are inside for what reason?

This year we went to Sudan to meet up with a Boat called the Don Questo out of Port Sudan, unlike Egypt all of the reefs that we dived were Pristine as they are not dived en mass as the reefs that day boats visit out of Sharm etc. There is one wreck that has to be dived it is called the Umbria it has everything that a wreck diver could want.
Intact holds still containing its cargo, there are fiat cars, bombs, ammunitions, batteries , marble.and loads more. The kitchen still has all the ovens etc all still in place, brilliant companion ways, i could go on about this wreck all day.

This is definately one to dive
