Bonnaire, Curacao

Has anyone dived Bonnaire or Curacao and if so what was it like?

Hi I have been to Curacoa, bout 18 years ago.

I was in the Merchant Navy, on a gas tanker. Generators went on the blink, and the ship was escourted by deep sea tugs from Vanezuala to Curacoa for repairs.

I remember we spent nearly 1 month there. Did not go diving but had a fantastic time with the night life. Lots of beer and sun.

Just the name of the place bring back great memories.

Thanks for posting this thread, jogs the brain back all those years.

Glad to bring back happy memories although I expect it has changed somewhat in that time.

Keith have you considered it might just be cheaper to sell up and move to Egypt or mexico Etc. If you do make sure you buy a place with a second bedroom ( hint, hint).

seriously though are you going to have your own fins and wetty before you go. I saw a pair just like hazels on ebay for £16 but they only had 28mins to go so i did'nt think it was worth trying to contact you.

When are you thinking of going to mexico?
