Komandoo, Maldives

Just booked my honeymoon at the komandoo island resort on the Lhaviyani Atoll :wub: :wub: .Anyone been here? is there any good snorkelling sites, or beginner dive sites?

HI there, just checked my rough guide for you. There appears to be a couple of really nice novice dive sites for you to visit. These are suitable for both novice divers and snorkelling. Although i'd suggest learning to dive :D

Anyway the dive sites are called Narcola Giri, and Maa Giri. The first has lots of nice overhangs and crevices where you may see rays and many anemones and sea fans. THere are also a number of coral pinacles attracting many species of reef fish, including parrotfish, wrasses, tangs, angels, boxfish, scorpionfish and lion fish :)
