Sorry to those who I promised a pic of my new setup. Always something else to do more urgent . . . clean up floods . . . . stop the tank from emptying itself etc etc

Well its not quite finished, still some trimmings to finish and a little decoration to do, but here it is at the moment.

This is view from kitchen:

I'm very impressed!!

I was a little confused with the cabinet door colour sceme form the kitchen view, but I'm assuming that they are the the same as your kitchen units?

The view from the living room is very impressive indeed.

I will definately like to see more photos.

Yes, very nice. Gives me some ideas with regards to my tank layout. I was planning on most of my live rock being on the sides of the tank, in a sort of "U" shaped formation, which is kind of like what you have done.

I'll post a pic of mine in its empty form to give an idea of what im doing later.

Regards

Mark

Yes, the doors match the other side of the kitchen - you know the bit where cooking and washing up etc is done. What a waste of a fishroom! :D

The rock is about 50% live rock and 50% home-made "agrocrete".

Thats easily solved. Get the missus to do it. I gave Jan a few minutes off from knocking up the cement, to have a go at the wall.

BTW the size of tank is 1800 x 700 x 700.

thats great Stan, cant believe ive not seen this before.

however, my only criticism is the oak coloured doors in the kitchen and the white cabinet doors - looks hideous! :o
paint the oak or change the cabinets please!

:weep:

Actually you need to see the whole kitchen. Well that's my excuse. The doors are cream, not white and the cream and oak are used throughout the whole kitchen. :D

For the past 12 months I have been SO busy with several projects, so have not been able to get onto UR too often. However, all projects finished and will be officially unemployed in a couple of weeks (hopefully, if the sale of my business goes through). I will then have lots of time to be on here:dance: before I decide what to do in the future.
