Question here guys and galls .....

Have been using Rowa Kalk everyother day with topups under controlled drip ovenight. OK you might say.. But my lfs sold me some KENT Marine Turbo Calcium, The tub instructions arenot that clear, My shop says just add 1/8 tea spoon dislved into 1 pint tank water and just add. So why do i nt have to drip feed this calcium , is this type nt even STRONGER than the Rowa Kalk ?????

I started last night and am going to check KH PH etc. any ideas ?????????

IIRC turbo calcium is a "fix" that should not be used too much as it can disturb the balance of the tank. Kalk is a balance additive.

Turbo clacium is Calcium Chloride and it will not affect pH so can be added more quickly as it is safe, well at a rate that will raise Calcium levels by no more than say 20ppm in one day.
Kalk has a very high pH and must be added more slowly. Agree with Phil too.

Corals are alkalinity limited (rarely) calcium limited.
