Hi
I've just set up my nano after just moving house and as i've finally got pics which i can post here they r.
theirs nothing in here bar rock and the odd snail but your all going to most probablly to say something here but im gong to keep a wartskin frogfish in it as the guy in the pet store said it would be fine for it as they don't move around much any way thats what i have been told i haven't just gone and decided to keep any fish in it im also going to keep sponges in it.
the tanks filtration is by
Lr going in soon a tricle filter and a triple filter with wool ceramics in and im going to run some carbon.

is that a red sponge? if so good luck with that as it will be super hard to keep alive.

yeah fair point, what provisions have you taken to allow the sponge to survive, e.g feed?

Hi
Im feeding the sponge on marine snow its been alive for over 3 months i think but i don't know if thats means anything its also shadowed by a the inlet to the filter and still gets preety good water flow.
thanks

Marinekid, is that just plain ocean rock you have in there? It certainly does not look like live rock. If it is not liverock how are you filtering the system - the setup looks fundamentally ok but with smaller systems you really need to take things a step further to ensure good water.

cheers

Hi
the measurements i gave where right afterall.
And the rock is not even ocean rock its just some rock i got cause its cheap their is one peice of lr in their around a half a kg id say.about the filtration their is a filter above tank with ceramics in some type which is ment to have a huge surface area their is also a tricle filter on it and the sponges to in a way skim the tank.their meant to take stuff which a protein skimmer is meant to take out but because i cant have room for a skimmer ill have to go with these or so ive read anyways.
thanks
