the sump, its just on a chair and pours back into the tank, i aim to get it all cleaned up and clutter free, and have another hole going under my desk to a sump to hold all the equipment.
i was thinking that this wudnt work as a dsb tho, not sure, as the water is being pumped up???? opinions welcome
sorry jasc, it may not be the neetest thing in the world, but i hope that it works.

this is the tank at the moment, i want to re-do the rockwork on the left, but i think i will once i get more live rock, i tried to go for very open and cavy rockwork, which you cant really see here..........
thanks, paultn
is the chairs 'seat' flat?
if it is contoured, you may want to be carefull that the sump doesn't crack!

thanks to 17000ltrs for the live rock.
my only new adition is a pencil urchin, im looking at getting 5 or so blood shrimps soon.
i am going to add my old juwel,(70ltrs) to the sump/refugium and have it on my desk. i was going to put all my macro algae in, but im just too tempted to make it an invert tank or sumthing with loads of xenia which i will let take over the glass,so it will look amazing, just need to get the pump for it.
Any advice on what i should get next??? and how long should i wait before i can start adding corals. just need to get some metal halides once funds permit.
