Puffer

i ordered a blue dot puffer (Canthigaster epilamprus) the bloke in the lfs said they call it a dual puffer so i was not sure if he was going to get the one i wanted but they did :D but i have found so many different names for this fish so what it its proper name?

looks more like jewel puffer, Canthigaster solandri to me, the two fish are very similar though, might be mistaken.

I've always known them as jewel puffers but the latin that Nick gives above is correct.

Agreed, he may have called it the "Dual" puffer with the aural similarities there with juwel...
