My camera is total cr*p so apologies for the quality. I've got this stuff growing out of my LR all over the place & Im not sure what it is. It does look very nice & is in various shades of purples & red all over the tank.

Can anybody ID it????

I think its a form of coralline algae. I have some in my tank. It does no harm and is quite attractive.

If its fairly hard then I had this in my last tank. It does look nice, however I found it to trap food etcc as it grows fast and becomes like a mesh structure, and started getting covered in cyano. (nowhere else)

My tank at the time wasn't in top condition so it may be that if you have good parameters you will be OK.
