Got a couple of these growing out of live rock, centimetre long and sort of "ribbed" like a maggot or caterpillar.
Any idea?

This type of algae will unfortunately come and go ...would love it to thrive longer in the tank...not sure about the common name mantis came up with...Spindleweed is another

Typical huh? Something that is free and actually looks nice will disappear, yet the PIA stuff stays forever.

Neomeris annulata
