Do you get any problems with overheating?
Hi Matt,
There is a chiller running on the tank, otherwise i would have a big problem with the temp.
Jonock,
The coral in the centre started out tiny from Ed Miller at Reefcreations a good few years back now. Does anyone know if he is still selling corals??????
John...
Beautiful tank just goes to show what can be done with a small tank
and a big light

john, please let me know when you do.
i also have the same coral that elliot said he has, i think they are blue tenuis. i will try and post a photo, mine is a wild colony, only had it for four weeks and it's really coloured up. i broke a branch off it {milliput accident} which i wanted to put into the acro race but i missed the dead line.chris.
Hi Chris,
I could frag it any time, how could you get the frag? your miles away.

john
post it i will pay for next day delivery. can you frag it now, and give it a couple of weeks to settle{ a big piece would be nice}. i've got some wild acro's to collect next weekend.if they don't come next week it will be the week after. i will need a week checking on them, then i will be ready for yours. let me know how much you want for a nice size frag.
cheers mate.
chris.
how far from yorkshire are you?. i spend a lot of summer around that area, could easily pop up for a few days.
Hi Chris,
There is no way i can really post a frag, i start work before post-offices open and when i finish work they are closed, i also work all around the North-East so i never know if i would be near a post-ofice.
I live in Middlesbrough which is North Yorkshire, so if you are ever coming up this way get in touch and i will get a frag for you. I dont want payment a swap would be better.
Cheers John..

This looks fantastic. Is the skimmer hang on model? Do you have a sump in the cabinet? Do you use zeovit? The colours are incredible
Nice
Pics look pretty blue, are you using 20k?
Keith
Thanks for the comments on the tank.
The skimmer is a Deltec AP851 and it is sat on a shelf at the side of the tank. There is no sump under the tank but there is equipment under there. I did use Zeovit for around 6 months but stopped using it as i could not fit the reactor anywhere.
The lighting used is a Giesemann 400w 12000k and 2x 24w actinic T5s.

I'll sort that out for you when I pop in for those bits n pieces.
lovely tank
what chiller are you running John and how do you find it noise wise?
cheers
Mark
hi mark, im using a teco ra 680 chiller. It is the chiller of my old tank (twice the size of the perc 90) it works very well. Noise wise, it is in a shed outside so very quiet.

Hi Col,
:D :D :D i thought that, it looks yellow. Crappy mobile phones:mad:
john
All the contents are now for sale. I would rather sell all the coral and rock in one go.
Thanks John.
Nooo John, don't do it mate.
Looks fantastic!
What size tank is that?
Exactly what I a working towards hopefully.
What streams/powerheads are you operating?
What skimmer also?
Martin
Hi Martin,
Thanks for the compliment of the tank :)
The tank was a Aqua-Medic percula 90 (36x24x24 ish) For circulation there was a Tunze stream 6100, 3x Aqua-bee 3000lph pumps, a Seio 4000lph pump and a Ehiem 1262.
The skimmer was a Deltec AP851 which was stood on a shelf next to the tank.
John..
Love your tank John. Awesome growth and colours.
What I want to know is how often you top up evaporation with RO or have you got an auto system.
Also have you got a calcium reactor/kalk stirer on top of your chiller.
Does it all fit in cabinet if so?
Nice Tank It Shows The Pro Ness Of The Hobby
