Very nice scoff. You might have given me some ideas for my Trigon. How do you make the back walls blue like that? I have blue paper from my local aquarium dealer stuck on the outside but it doesn't have nearly as much effect. Also what lights are you running?

Cheers

The blue effect is usually done by folks painting the outside of the tank (the outside mind ;) ) with a blue gloss.

Pool Blue from B&Q is a popular choice :D

Hi scoff1974

Very nice

I take it your transfered you stock from your last tank into the Trigon and this isnt a completly new setup?
What is you flow in the tank

Red Sea Prizm Deluxe Protein Skimmer Ahhhhhhhh You won't find a lot of friends of the Prizm Skimmers (Would Defo think about a Deltec or Aquamedic Skimmer)

What are you running in you 404

imo,not enough flow in there.....as said live rock should be your filtration...hth

Hi Im presuming you mean these tunze-6100 streams.Do they work differently to a powerhead and where in tank do you have them positioned ie:high, mid or low.If i dont ask i will never now still learning just like everyone.Ive been keeping fish for 13 years now admittadely not marines things always change so one is always learning.

As vanadium said you would be best with a turnover of 30 - 40x

What flow do these powerheads give you at the moment and where are they plced

looking good scoff, some nice corals. I would recommend adding some base rock in addition to the extra 20kg of live. I think Trigon's look nice with rocks built up the sides..

20 x turn over will be fine so your still short but im sure you dont need 40 x turn over for a softie tank, if your going to move on to hard corals upgrade to streams when you upgrade you lighting.

Regards Steve.

P.S. I have 45x Turn over in my tank, just letting you know its not esential to up your turn over at great expence all in one go.

Regards Steve.
