can someone give me a positive id for this pls, not a good photo but is light green in colour, lfs not sure what it is but charged me £20 for it

thanx, heres a better picture i think, had a look for Sinularia Sp, Finger leather Coral but havent found anything quite like it, anyone else got one of these out there

Agreee with mikey, almost certain thats a sinularia that hasnt opened up properly yet. How long had it been in the tank when those photos were taken?

i have got one of those had it a 6 weeks now, though the one i have is white with a pink shade to it when polyps extend, dont know if its me but it seems ok one min then next closes up looks like its ready to die, then next day or two its a little better strange coral anyone know anymore abt feeding etc: maybe im doing somthing wrong' im using a normal liquid coral feeder

your not doing anything wrong there just very fussy and take a while to settle in longer then most corals IME!once there settled then they are wonderfull!like toadstools realy can shut up for days!seem to like strong water movement :thumbsup: nick

thanks for the replys. it went in saturday and the picture was taken yesterday so a bit early doors yet i suppose

As informed above sinularia.

The same as mine, green body and when opened up will have white polyps.

yeh but you have always got your head stuck up some pipes somewhere ;)
any chance of a photo of yours just to compare, i cant remember what yours looks like, cheers mate, ps the kent salt is still cheap at £38.99 for a bucket
