I dragged the wife along to the LFS this weekend, upon leaving I noticed a beautiful species in one of their display tanks. I didn't have time to run back in and ask what species it was- the missus wanted new shoes! :lol:

My best guess would be some sort of Euphyllia, but obviously there are hundreds of species it could have been! I've attempted to draw what I saw below can anyone hazard a guess? (Without laughing hysterically! :blush: )

Thanks nasotang, but I'm not so sure. I just googled pictures of Star Polyps and they look like miniature brittle stars to me - these were more like miniature daisies ;)

EDIT: Spelling.

alvepora or gonipora ...the latter does not have very good long term survival record
