right thats got it photo dont do it credit but the polyps are a deep orange looking for common and scientific name please

Montipora digitata, Doesnt really have a common name as such.

thanks nick thats the area i was moving in but never seen one with such orange polyps before so it did have me wondering
so it be a plain ol orange monti

Yeah you see them with various different coloured polyps, oranges, yellows and reds, through greens to lilacs and purples....I had one damn near identacle to yours, grows like a weed once it gets its foot in the door!

yea its odd ive got green identical to yours and have been around marines a few years but its something that i havent seen before in orange or not this deep an orange odd in as at one time i was virtualy camped at stm an im sure i would have seen it there before but oddly not oh well better go to specsavers :lol: :lol:
