Naked Shrimp

First a question do cleaner shrimps shed thier skin??

Found this in my tank this morning.

Have anoither behind some LR. Though it was another shrimp yesterday.

Is it a shed clearner shrimp skin ?

Yes it's a shed skin - you'll probably find the shrimp that has shed it's skin will hide for a while until it's new skin hardens.

That explains why my cleaner wouldnt come out for feeding yesterday.

Though he was ill.

Sorry if it was a stoopid question but it had me really worried yesterday. Couldnt work out what these long strands were sticking out from my LR.

Really appreciate ya help

Morning Panda

I just got 2 new cleaners and there favorite place to hand about is below my biggest powerhead, which ain't really ideal, any way about an hour after putting them in I spotted a shell and initially thought he had croaked but I spotted him hidden in the LR, he came out 2 - 3 Hrs and is fine.

Yep scared the hel hell out of me. Went to bed with 2 shrimps woke up next morning with 3. Was like what is this and how did it get in my tank and soo big in 24 hours LOL
