Not saying this IS the reason but, I got a kalk stirrer off him (should have got the Ratz) a good few months ago and he mentioned then that he was no longer going to be selling "retail" but rather directly to and through the trade.

It looks a lot like :( Cleartides :( and Proficiensea could be the same company i would like to think not does anybody know different :(

i believe that underworld have taken over the cleartides brand and re-named it.

dave (cleartides) was actually approached and for want of a better term, bought out by underworld...they have taken his ideas and he does still build for them....although as they are now under such a large wing (underworld) the quality control is far stricter and thus goods meet an accpetable standard (with a price increase from ct days too)
