Hi folks, we have a new species of aquacultured coral available as of this week, Tubipora musica (organ pipe coral). This coral has proved easy to keep and propogate dispite it's previous difficult reputation. You will find it under the soft coral section of the website. Colonies are £15 and have a minimum of 50 polyps.
happy reefing :D

When you say a new coral, I presume that you mean new in your propogated stock? Cos it's been around for years. Also why is it in your soft corals? It's a hard coral as far as I know.

I don't think Clayton's claiming to have genetically engineered a new species ;)

On your other point its not a true stony coral. But the divide between soft and hard is pretty arbitrary anyway.

For the benefit of others I'll just add that I've had one of these T. musica frags off Clayton and it was very nice  and of course beautifully packaged.
