Percula 90 Skimmer

Hi , i was wondering if anyone can help aqua medic web site shows the skimmer for the percula 90/120 with 2 holes at the bottom near the pump, but when you look at 1000 multi the holes are near the top of the cup which way should the skimmer tube go thanks

it goes in at the bottom but comes up the skimmer outside them i just hang the end with tap over the bioball chamber
