I have been given a small tank with contents which i have setup in my garage.

The system had been set up at a friends house for a couple of years after his reef crashed and he downsized to keep the clowns, now there is only 1 tomato clown and 1 yellowtailed damsel remaining (they are in there somewhere)
The tank is only 24x12x12
Filtration is via the live rock and a 12x12 plenum based in the tank alongside.
There is no skimmer
Circulation is via 3 powerheads
Lighting is a 150 10k halide.
I just moved the tank and placed it in my garage gave it a clean (it had been neglected a bit) and upgraded the lighting.
Do you reckon i could get away with using it as a frag tank as it stands?? or would it be best to put a skimmer on it??
The plenum is probably 6 years old by now, is it worth keeping ???
