does the double 90 degree bend help with the noise reduction at all on ur durso as mine is rather noisey and trying to come up with some way of reducing it

yes the double 90 helps it has some forgot name white pastic grid in the end to stop things going down and there is a slot in the front bend it acts as a surface skimmer pull all the skum to the sump.
